HOW YOU CAN HELP
The exponential growth of the My Beautiful Home project means that our needs have proportionately grown too. Here are ways in which you can help.

Donations are easiest because we can allocate the funds to where they are needed most. However, we appreciate that people may not like to allocate funds to an unknown destination, as such please feel free to tell us what you would like to donate and ask what we specifically need to match your donation and we will tell you exactly where your funds will be allocated. Most funds currently are allocated as follows:

A small stipend to support the Co-ordinators in fulfilling their duties and supporting the project.

Prizes for the entrants of the competition – we try to give as many people who participate a prize to reward them for their participation and these cost money. We purchase items such as bucket and bowls through to JoJo water storage containers and ploughs, if you would like to donate the cost of a category, please let us know and we will give you the budget.

Administration – regrettably running a non-profit is not free, we have to cover the costs of our website, bank and payment system charges, etc.

Training Days – when we provide new products to the community through prizes we like to ensure that they know how to use them and this means training. Training days are a challenge as we have to provide transport for people to attend a central location, for the costs of the trainer (where not donated).

Fuel – has become expensive and as most volunteers live in the city we not only support their trips to the rural areas but we also have to organise for remote rural people to gain access to the prize-giving events.
